Perale hannu is guava fruit, and rasa is juice. Guava juice is a very simple recipe made with freshly picked guavas. This plain fruit juice is yummy and healthy.
I prefer NO sugar fruit juices. So I add less or no water when blending. However, you can adjust consistency and sweetness by addling more or less water and sugar respectively. Any guava variety can be used to make juice. But the fruits should be soft, ripe (not over ripe), and sweet.
Guava is a nutrient-rich tropical fruit known for its sweet, musky aroma, rich fiber, and high vitamin C content. It is a round or pear shaped fruit with white, pink, or red flesh with many small edible seeds. The very interesting fact about guava is that that guava is not a fruit but a berry!
Like other fruits and vegetables, guava is a powerhouse with many health benefits. Guava is considered as a superfood. The leaves are used in traditional herbal remedies.

Step by step guide
1. Rinse guavas well in water and chop them to small pieces.
2. Add them to a blender / mixer jar. Add 1 cup water, and sugar as required. (Sugar is optional) Blend / grind guavas to a smooth pulp. Do not grind too much as then seeds also get ground.
3. Add pulp to a strainer placed on top of a bowl.
4. Using a thick spoon, stir the pulp so that the smooth pulp (sans seeds) is extracted in the bowl.
5. Below is the collected pulp without seeds.
6. Add 1 cup water to the collected pulp and stir well to mix. Consume / serve guava juice immediately.
Sugar: For any sweet fruit juice sugar is unnecessary. So use fruits that are sweet. Sugar is added to overcome neutral taste of water. So add less water. Try using raw sugar.
